Kupwara: The Chairman, District Development Council (DDC), Kupwara, Irfan Sultan Pandithpori Friday convened a meeting of all DDC members of the district, here.
The Vice Chairman, DDC, Kupwara Haji Farooq Ahmad Mir was also present in the meeting.
Addressing the meeting, the Chairman said that the meeting was called to discuss the strategy to implement the developmental plans in the district Kupwara in a better way. He said the main focus shall remain equal development of all areas of the district.
He laid emphasis upon all the members to play their role to contain the spread of Covid-19 pandemic. He also stressed upon the DDC members to use their influence in their respective jurisdictions and motivate people for maintaining social distance and other Covid-19 appropriate behavior.
The DDC members who attended the meeting include Rahi Mustafa, Nasir Nazeer Lone, Khurshid Ahmad Dar, Advocate Najma, Advocate Masrat, Habibullah Beigh, Miss Tahira, Advocate Ulfat, Advocate Zahoor Ahmad Magray, Sanaullah Khan and Mohammad Sulaiman Mir.
