Srinagar/April,22 : Heavy rains lashed plains in Kashmir valley since Wednesday night . As reported already J&K MeT department had predicted heavy showers for two days in Kashmir.
Rains started Thursday midnight and heavy downpour was on Thursday witnessed from early morning hours.The fresh rainfall has led to a drop in the temperature in Valley. The Director of India Meteorological Department’s (IMD) regional center, Sonum Lotus said rains are expected in Jammu as well. “The weather is cloudy in the Jammu region and (it) could rain in the afternoon at many places,” said Sonum Lotus, adding that “after April 23, Friday, the weather will largely remain dry till April end”.
