Doda: Civil society members including traders, transporters, religious organizations and other stakeholders were Wednesday acquainted about fresh Covid control SoPs here by the local administration.
Sub Divisional Magistrate, Athar Amin Zargar chaired a meeting and briefed the stakeholders about the fresh guidelines with regard to transportation, operation of market, night curfew etc.
During the meeting it was decided that shops shall be allowed to open on alternate days by categorizing various areas in and around the municipality.
Moreover it was further decided that all the donation collectors for religious and other charitable institutions shall be allowed to operate only after proper screening, which shall be applicable for 72 hrs only.
Meanwhile, the SDM also conducted market checking at both Thathri and Premnagar and also interacted with the public representatives. He asked them to extend full support to the Administration in implementing the fresh guidelines and also asked the police officials to implement the directions in letter and spirit.
