5 criminals arrested, sharp edged weapons recovered, major tragedy averted in Jammu : Police

Jammu/April,18 : Police in Jammu on  Sunday said it averted a major tragedy by arresting five criminals and also claimed recovery of sharp edged weapons from the possession of the detained criminals.
In a statement issued on Sunday police said “Police at MiranSahib have arrested 5 notorious criminals and recovered sharp edged weapons from them”.
Stating that on receiving the input that 5 criminals namely Suresh Kumar @ Monu S/o Ram pal R/o Malikpur kothay RS Pura, Ran Vijay singh@ rummy S/o Surinder singh R/o Dhabbar Bishnah, Manjeet singh@ Manu S/O Kuldeep Singh R/o Nougran Bishnah, Rajveer Singh @ Love S/o Samporan Singh R/o kathar kothey  Arnia and Rishav Charak @ Rishu S/o Rakesh Pal Singh R/o Salehar Bishnah have hatched a conspiracy of attacking a person residing at Arnia, Police in the above referred statement said ” teams of Police Station Miran Sahib led by SHO Miran Sahib Inspr. Mirza Sultan under the supervision of SDPO RS Pura  Shabir Khan swung into action and after taking the technical and human aid apprehended the accused persons”.
In the concluding para of it’s state police said ” Case FIR No 36/2021 U/S 4/25 Arms Act, 34/IPC was subsequently registered at Police station Miran Sahib and all the accused were arrested”, adding that “during intensive questioning, all the 5 accused accepted that they intended to attack the said person  because of some old enemity”.
Further investigation of the case is going on .
