Doda: Sub-Divisional Magistrate Gandoh Dr. Pritam Lal Thapa, accompanied by XEN PMGSY Thathri today inspected work progress on Gowari-Bharti and Bharti-Dhossa PMGSY roads. He also reviewed the bottlenecks and listened to the grievances of the locals pertaining to the construction of these roads.
The locals expressed apprehension of damage to their land and property over the change of alignment of the road. The demanded construction of protection walls and settlement of land compensation issues of some landowners.
The SDM directed the concerned to execute the work on the roads as per the approved alignment, besides assured the locals that the land compensation issue shall be taken up on priority with the higher authorities for timely release of funds.
SDPO, Shahzada K. Mattoo, Ex MLA Bhaderwah, Dalip Singh Parihar were also present during the inspection.
