Jammu: District Employment & Counselling Centre (DECC) Jammu Monday organized an orientation programme on E Career Counselling for the Coordinators of the Career Counselling & Placement Cells (CCCPC)s of different colleges of Jammu district.
The Resource person invited for the Programme was Sunil Baraily, PAN India Mobilization Coordinator, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS). Sunil guided the members of Counselling & Placement Cells of different colleges regarding the Youth Employability Programme initiated by TCS.
He acquainted the participants that the programme aims at imparting Free Employability Training to the students of SC/ST other socially and economically weaker sections of the society.
The programme also supports the youth for guiding them for internal (in TCS) and external opportunities for their jobs in Private sector. He also asserted that trainees will receive a digital certificate of participation and completion from TCS which will stand as a testimony and accreditation of their employability prospects in the corporate world.
The Employment Department is focusing on conducting similar Counselling Sessions with the Counselling Cells of all Degree colleges to help the students by providing them necessary information regarding such Free of cost trainings available for them which will certainly help them to enhance their Employability
