Srinagar/ March, 4:Chairman People’s Democratic Front  (PDF) Hakeem Mojammad Yaseen has expressed concern over reports that only 200 candidates from kashmir have been selected  , out of 1500 Banking  Associat vacancies in J&K Bank. He has demanded that the vacancies should be filled  on equal share basis for Jammu and kashmir divisions so that justice is done to the aspiring candidates without any discrimination.
In a statement issued on Sunday Hakeem expressed dismay over the recently issued result notification for 1500 vacancies of Banking Associate posts in J&K Bank adding that candidates from kashmir division are shell shocked to see that the names of only 200 candidates from Kashmir,  figure in the recently issued result notification for Banking Associate posts , out of  the 1500  advertised vacancies.  He said it was a great injustice and discrimination with the aspiring candidates of  Kashmir division. He said the vacancies should have been distributed on equal share basis between the two divisions of Jammu and Kashmir. He said aspiring candidates from Kashmir feel very dejected, betrayed and discriminated after seeing the result notification issued by the Bank authorities.
Hakeem enjoined upon the Jammu and Kashmir Bank authorities to do justice to the candidates from Kashmir division as the result notification about selection of Banking Associates has jeopardised their career. He said it seems  “sinister designs” are underway to usurp the fundamental rights of the people of Kashmir .He said Kashmir division was already bereft with the scarcity of private sector so there was urgent need to provide more  opportunities of employment to the unemployed youth. He said people especially youth of Kashmir have suffered immensely educationally, socially, economically, mentally and  psychologically due to ongoing conflict and  turmoil so desperately  need a healing touch. ” Onus lies on the Central and JK Union Territory government to rise to the occasion to come up to the urges and aspirations of  Kashmiri youth. He demanded that  all the dropped aspiring candidates for Banking Associate posts from Kashmir division should be engaged forthwith to address their grievances.
