Scores of political activists joins JKAP in Srinagar

Srinagar: Scores of political activists from different districts in the Kashmir valley joined Apni Party (AP) in Srinagar on Monday.
A spokesman of the AP said the new entrants to the party included, former Special Secretary Home and former member State Human Rights Commission Dilshad Shaheen and a well known social activist Dr Asmat.
Welcoming the new entrants, AP Provisional president Mohammad Ashraf Mir said that AP is open to all who wish to serve the people and work for the redressal of their grievances.
“Our aim is to free people from the malicious schemes of political demagogy that have entangled our society for decades while striving to address their tangible issues of concern on a prompt basis,” he remarked.
The new entrants on the occasion thanked the party leadership for providing such a reliable platform and avowed to work diligently for strengthening the party at grass root levels.
Meanwhile, various panchayat members alongwith prominent political activists from Ganderbal on Monday joined the party.
The new entrants who joined party included State J&K Board Member Pahadi Mohammad Hussain Rajput (Panch), Farooq Ahmad Khatana (Panch Ward-6), Sajad Ahmad Rajput, Mohammad Aslam Rajput, Zakir Hussain Rajput.
On the occasion Mir said that Apni Party is committed for the welfare of the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
“Apni party has always followed the Politics of Truth and Sincerity without resorting to any hollow sloganeering or fake promises. We conscientiously work for the welfare of the people,” he remarked.
The new entrants thanked the party leadership for providing them with such a dependable platform and avowed to work for strengthening the party at grass root levels.
Meanwhile, the political activist, including Mohammad Shafi Malik alongwith Gowhar Ahmad Wani from Safapora-Ganderbal on Monday joined AP in Srinagar.
AP president Syed Altaf Bukhari welcomed the duo into the party-fold and said that Apni Party is open to all who altruistically wish to serve the people of J&K.
“I wish both of them luck as they are determined to raise voices for the redressal of the public grievances,” he remarked.
Malik, who had contested recently held District Development Council (DDC) elections from Safapora thanked the Party President and pledged to work diligently for the welfare of the people in district Ganderbal.
