Workshop under PMKSY concludes at Anantnag

Anantnag:: A Two day Seminar cum Workshop organized by Department of Agriculture Production & Farmers Welfare Anantnag on Pradhan Mantri Krshi Sinchai Yojna concluded Wednesday at Dak Bungalow Khanabal, here.
Joint Director Agriculture Extension Kashmir, Muzaffar Hussain Hurra graced the occasion as Chief Guest in presence of Chief Agriculture Officer, Dr.Waseem and other officers of the Department.
The Joint Director in his address highlighted the role of the department in educating the farmers regarding the measures which reduce the loss of ‘precious’ water resources.
The CAO enjoined the field officers to convey the message of ‘Har Khet Ko Pani’ to all areas of the district.
Among others, District Agriculture Officer Extension, Malik Reyaz Ahmad and Area Development officer (Veg) Anantnag, Showkat Hussain Mughloo highlighted the importance of conserving the natural resources and elaborated the relevant traditional and modern scientific practices with the audience.
