Srinagar: In another setback to Peoples Democratic Party, two councilors Monday resigned from the party in Srinagar.
Mohammad Ashraf Bhat, councilor of Srinagar Muncipal Corporation” from Eidgah 51, and Farooq Ahmad Mir, councilor from Mahrajganj 51 confirmed their decesion of quitting the PDP. “Since Khursheed Alam sb left the party, we have no reason to stay in the party,” they said.
Earlier yesterday, senior leaders Khursheed Alam and Yasir Reshi resigned from the party.
