Kathua:A farewell programme in the honor of outgoing Deputy Commissioner, Kathua Om Prakash was Thursday held here at DC office complex.
Additional Deputy Commissioner, Atul Gupta; ACR, Joginder Paul; CPO, Uttam Singh; Tehsilsar HQ, Suninderjeet Kour; Tehsildar Gourav Sharma; district officers and officials of different departments were present on the occasion.
While speaking on the occasion, the outgoing Deputy Commissioner thanked officers and staff of district administration extending for full cooperation and support during his stint in the district. He credited team work as main driving force for smooth accomplishment of assigned tasks during his tenure, especially in the fight against Covid-19 pandemic, besides free and fair conduct of DDC and Panchayat by-elections. He called upon the officers and officials to render same cooperation to the new DC Kathua for all round welfare and development of the district. Additional Deputy Commissioner, Atul Gupta, while speaking on behalf of officers and staff, hailed the achievements, works and efforts made by the outgoing DC during his tenure. He added that his sincerity and dedication sets as an example for everyone to follow.
