Budgam : A two days workshop on Drip, Sprinkler irrigation system under PMKSY commenced Wednesday at Sheikh- ul- Alam Hall here.
The workshop has been organised by the Department of Agriculture, Budgam and on occasion, the Scientists from SKUAST-K and KVK Budgam delivered lectures through power point presentations.
The program was aimed at imparting training to officers and officials of the Department of Agriculture regarding new techniques to be adopted in the field to enhance production and Agricultural yield.
Meanwhile, the program was organised with the theme as ‘Per drop, more crop’.
Among others, DAO, Project Coordinator KVK Budgam spoke on the occasion and highlighted the usage of new technology to conserve water simultaneously focusing upon maximum yield with minimum requirements of water.
