Bla Police distributes 50 Sewing Machines among the needy people

Srinagar: Under Civic Action Programme, Baramulla Police distributed 50 sewing machines along with other accessories among the needy people of District Baramulla.
DIG NKR Baramulla Sulaiman Choudhary inaugurated the distribution event at DPL Baramulla besides, SSP Baramulla, ASP Baramulla, DySP(DAR) Baramulla were also present on the occasion. 50 Sewing Machines along with other accessories including Scissors, L-scale, Bend Scale and Marker Boxes were distributed among 50 ladies of District Baramulla.
While speaking on the occasion, DIG NKR Baramulla highlighted various initiatives taken by Police under the aegis of Civic Action Programme involving community as a whole and youth in particular by providing different platforms as per the skills.
While giving a brief introduction, SSP Baramulla gave overlook of Civic Action Programme and the steps taken in this regard from time to time by Police in terms of various means and methods including providing of covid-19 kits, Sports items, computers etc.
The participants highly appreciated the role of J&K Police for arranging such programmes for betterment of destitute & needy people besides providing platform to the talented youth by way of organizing various programmes under Civic Action Programme.
