For better or worse, the world is interconnected and will remain so. It is probably not possible to go back to a time when societies were not so dependent on each other, not so interconnected through world trade, not so dependent on commercial exchange and not so dependent on the dissemination of scientific information at right time. Now the question arises, how much we are connected? and how sincerely we are connected for the welfare of humanity? Once upon a time, a secret project was started by unknown persons known only to them and finally they strategise the project and execute the same. Then they classify the project into different parts and each member was assigned a part of this secret project as per the expertise of the same. Unanimous decision was taken, not to disclose the secret of the project and the date for the submission of individual assignments was fixed. Time for the submission was very close and the appetite of some of the members of the secret project got activated and they developed an idea at individual level to delude other members. On the day of submission, all the member of the secret project submitted their respective assignments. When all the results were compiled and they tried to translate the submitted information into the expected application. But unexpected error was bound to come because some of the members have submitted the untrue results. Later, these unknown persons, who were of the ken to be the only intelligent persons on this planet earth and who produced the untrue results faced the same brunt of deception. It appears that all of them are playing a collective round of whack-a-mole, the old arcade game, no matter how quickly they move, no matter how hard they struggle, the enemy always pops back up at an increasingly frienzed pace. And the show is going on in most of the fields and the players are waiting for their pomp and show but they are always facing a music of whack-a-mole. So the current situation demands a strong revisit of the previous strategies and adoption of novel approaches.
Friendship is the only cement that will ever hold the world together and there is no place for political disputes when billions of lives are at stake.
We are always talking about the sustainable development goals or global goals viz. no poverty; zero hunger; good health and well-being; quality education; gender equality; clean water and sanitation; affordable and clean energy; decent work and economic growth; industry, innovation and infrastructure; reducing inequality; sustainable cities and communities; responsible consumption and production; climate action; life below water; life on land; peace, justice and strong institutions; and partnnership for the goals. But how come it is possible to achieve a better and more sustainable future for all, when appetite is dominant over to one’s intelligence. This is very much unfortunate that we are following cock and bull stories, we are deceiving others for our own materialistic pursuits and we are calling ourselves as human-beings. On one side, we are vomiting here and there that we are interconnected and the parts of a system are interdependent and cannot remain in isolation. On the otherside, the world becomes increasingly interconnected or globalized, the importance of understanding the linkages and bonds become necessary and when it is necessary why don’t you kick the bump of your appetite? Why don’t you understand that a bread can’t be baked without it’s constituents and the proper heat, why don’t you understand that a minicreature who is beyound your imagination has caged you inside your coop and still you aren’t accepting whether they exist or not and you are thinking yourself as the only intelligent person on this planet? In drawing things to a close, it is justified that intoxication of liquor leaves you but intoxication of power continues to grow and finally drowns you. So, friendship is the only cement that will ever hold the world together and there is no place for political disputes when billions of lives are at stake.
