Kulgam: The District Development Commissioner, Kulgam, Showkat Aijaz Bhat convened a meeting in his office to review the implementation of ICPS in the district and activity calendar (2nd quarter) of ICPS for enhancing Capacities of Child Protection Functionaries of Block and Village Level Child Protection Committees.
During the meeting, DDC exhorted upon all the stakeholders to work with zeal, dedication and close coordination for the betterment of the children. He also directed the concerned officers of ICPS to organize awareness camps in collaboration with other line departments to sensitize people about child rights and Juvenile Justice Act.
It was informed in the meeting that 11 block level and 220 Village Level Child Protection Committees have already been constituted in the district.
The meeting was attended by the members of the District Child Protection Committee and officers of other line departments.
