Arrangements for Covid-19 testing in all schools, colleges reviewed at Kulgam

Kulgam: To review arrangements for mass COVID-19 testing of Teachers/staff members of all schools, colleges in the district, a meeting of officers of education and health department was Monday held here under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam Showkat Aijaz Bhat.
During the meeting, the DC directed the officers to go for mass Rapid testing of all teachers and staff members in all schools and colleges. He also directed them to ensure strict adherence to Covid-19 SOPs and initiate action against those schools found violating guidelines.
The meeting was attended by CMO,CEO, BMOs,ZEO’s and other officers.
Earlier, the DC chaired a separate meeting of officers to review implementation of National Green Tribunal (NGT) directions.
He directed the concerned officers for strict implementation of the NGT directions in the district
The meeting was attended by Joint Director, Planning, General Manager Industries, Divisional Forest Officer, District Pollution Officer, EOs from Municipal Committees and other members.
