Danesh Rana declares open Inter Battalion Sports Meet

Jammu: Danesh Rana IGP Armed Jammu (Designate ADGP) Monday inaugurated the Inter Battalion Sports Meet at Gulshan Ground Jammu.
Speaking on the occasion the Chief Guest Danesh Rana emphasized among the participants that this sports meet is being conducted by J&K Police annually so that we may get good talent for their induction in J&K Police Central Sports Teams. He said elaborate arrangements have been made with regard to accommodation, transportation and conduct of the tournament. He advised the participating contingents to avail the opportunity and put your best possible efforts in your respective games.
During the opening ceremony welcome speech was presented by Dushyant Sharma-SSP, Staff officer (Sports) APHQ J&K and Mohammad Sharief Chouhan-SSP, CO IRP 7th Bn presented vote of thanks.
In this sports meet 1158 participants including 64 women and 12 Gazetted officers of all Jammu Kashmir AP/IRP Battalions are taking part in (22) games which are recognized by All India Police Sports Control Board. A large gathering witnessed the grand opening ceremony which was followed by a March Past by colorful contingents of AP/IRP Battalions of J&K Police.
