Srinagar: Militants Friday evening triggered an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) in south Kashmir district of Pulwama, official sources said.
They said panic gripped in Dangarpora in Pulwama when militants detonated a low intensity IED near a shop. However, there was no report of any loss of life or injury in the blast, sound of which was heard in the entire area.
Security forces immediately cordoned off the entire area and started Cordon and Search Operation (CASO), they said adding further details are awaited.
