Srinagar : After remaining temporarily suspended due to mudslides at Shahbanbas in Banihal, the traffic movement on Srinagar Jammu Highway was restored on Wednesday.
“After men and machinery were pressed in for clearance work, the traffic was restored on the national highway,” an official said.
The traffic authorities have decided to allow the traffic movement on Thursday from Jammu towards Srinagar.
Traffic authorities in their communiqué for 4 March read, “subject to fair weather and better road condition LMVs (passenger) shall be allowed from Jammu towards Srinagar.”
