Udhampur: Inter District Athletics Competitions for U 14 Boys Friday commenced here at Sports Stadium Udhampur.
Additional District Development Commissioner, Ashok Kumar was the chief guest, while Councillor Preeti Khajuria and Chief Education Officer, Parshotam Dutt Sharma were the guest of honour on the occasion.
About 180 Boys drawn from 19 Districts of Jammu and Kashmir are participating in the competition.
The event is being organized under the patronage of Dr. Saleem-Ur-Rehman, Director General Youth Services and Sports J&K Govt. and under the chairmanship of Dr. Piyush Singla Deputy Commissioner Udhampur and overall supervision of S. Swaran Singh District Youth Services & Sports Officer Udhampur.
Among others present were Santosh Kumari, Poonam Sharma, Kartar Singh (all ZPEOs), Laxmi Kant, Bhim Sein, Arvind Kumar (all PELs), Ramesh Chander, Anita Goswami, Anupama Sharma, Sanjeev Kumar, Parshotam Kumar, Jatin Sethi, Karun Magotra, Sanjeev Kumar Khajuria and field staff of concerned department.
