Kulgam: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, Showkat Aijaz Bhat Thursday visited Kund valley to take stock of arrangements for ongoing annual Urs of sufi saint Hazrat Syed Noor Shah Saheb Wali Baghdadi (RA).
On the occasion, the DC stressed upon the concerned officers to ensure availability of all the necessary arrangements so that the devotees do not face any inconvenience.
He interacted with Auqaf Committee members and enquired about the arrangements put in place by administration for smooth conduct of Urs, the Auqaaf members expressed satisfaction over the arrangements.
The DC directed the officers to ensure uninterrupted power supply, safe drinking water supply, proper sanitation measures, illumination and decoration of the shrine besides healthcare facilities and security arrangements at the Shrine.
The DC during the visit was accompanied by Tehsildar and other officers and officials.
