Jammu: In a series of interactive sessions Commissioner Secretary, Industries and Commerce, Manoj Kumar Dwivedi Thursday met delegations of J&K Walnut Exporters Association, J&K Plywood Manufacturing Association and PHDCCI- Jammu at Civil Secretariat here.
All the Associations in one voice expressed gratitude to the Government for announcing the revised J&K Industrial Development Scheme 2021. The delegations expressed that the scheme will go a long way in boosting the Industrial Sector of Jammu and Kashmir.
On the occasion the delegates presented memorandum for consideration of the Government which included up-gradation of infrastructure in the Industrial Estates, Skill Development and Labour related incentives, Industrial benefits to hotels, Special Package of revival of Sick units, Rationalization of duty regime on walnut in-shell and Support to Wood based Industry.
Dwivedi assured the delegations full support in measures which will help in boosting the Industrial Sector in J&K. Several on spot directions were issued by the Commissioner Secretary for amelioration of issues highlighted by the industry.
