Budgam: Taking a unique initiative launched by Govt of J&K relating to public outreach program in all blocks, the DDC Budgam Shahbaz Ahmed Mirza in this connection Wednesday convened a public outreach interaction program at SDM Khansahab .
The people hailing from different areas of Block Khansahab attended the darbar and put forth their issues relating to problems faced by them particularly drinking water supply, restoration of power supply in the areas affected by recent snowfall, besides restoration of road connectivity of remote areas also came into submission.
While interacting with the public, the DDC said the aim and objective of this program is to take a firsthand appraisal of all issues at gross root level.
On the occasion, SDM Khansahab, Syed Ahnad Kataria detailed the steps taken to ensure basic amenities to the public.
Speaking on the occasion, the DDC assured all deputations and individuals that their grievances and demands will be addressed at the earliest.
The DDC further added that District Administration is ensuring that public outreach program shall prove fruitful and progressive initiative for future.
Similar programs under the Block Diwas Initiative were also held at SDM office Chadoora under the Chairmanship of ADC Budgam Dr. Nasir Ahmad.
