Surankote: Sub Divisional Magistrate Surankote Saleem Ahmed Qurashi, Friday took a review meeting of all the tehsil and sector officers of Sub Division Surankote to finalize the arrangements for Republic Day ,2021. Tehsildar Surankote Sheraz Ahmed Chouhan (KAS), DYSP Surankote Khaliq Hussain Chowdhary and all other officers participated in the meeting .
During the meeting the SDM and Tehsildar Surankote informed that the main function will be held at Govt Boys Higher Secondary School Surankote. The flag hoisting will be done 8.55 am, followed by the March Past and other cultural activities.
Regarding other arrangements, the SDM said that all concerned departments as are directed shall be required to take proactive measures in ensuring that all the arrangements are put in place well in time and with due responsibility to ensure smooth and successful conduct of the republic day function.In addition the SDM directed that all the Officers and officials of different departments shall attend the function as a part of their official duty.The meeting was was attended by BDO Surankote, Principal Govt. HSS Boys Surankote, AEE PHE, AEE PDD, TSO Surankote, EO Municipality,and Horticulutre Development Officer, Surankote. The meeting ended with a vote of thank to the chair and after having decided all the events of function in proper order.
