Biniyar: Veterans Day was on Thursday celebrated with lots of verve and enthusiasm on 14 January 2021 at Boniyar by Torna Battalion under the aegis of Pir Panjal Brigade.
A statement issued by Torna Battalion said “the occasion was marked with the organisation of Ex-servicemen rally cum Medical camp and was attended by approximately 65 ex-servicemen”, adding that “ the rally was organised to resolve various problems faced by the ex-servicemen veer naris and war disabled veterans in close co-ordination with Zila Sainik Board, Records Offices, ARO and ECHS Cell”.
In it’s statement the Torna Battalion further said “ the rally was yet another admirable attempt by the Army to increase the communication with its veterans of the region and showcased its continuous commitment towards recognition of their valuable service and supreme sacrifices towards the nation:.
