Srinagar/Jan,9: Chairman People’s Democratic Front( PDF) Hakeem Yaseen has demanded immediate repealing of SRO-103 that has reduced the age bar for civil services aspirants by five years.
In a statement issued on Saturday,Hakeem has termed enforcement of SRO-103 as sheer injustice to the educated youth of Jammu and Kashmir as it has reduced the qualifying age for appearing in the KAS examination has to 32 years from existing 37 years .He said the age bar for Civil services in other states of the country was much higher even upto 40 years .He said SRO 103 will drastically impede participation of educated youth of Jammu and Kashmir in civil services examinations. He said employment opportunities in Jammu and Kashmir were already negligible which will get further chocked by debarring educated youth above 32 years from appearing in KAS examinations as per the provisions of the controversial SRO 103. He has demanded immediate roll back of the controversial SRO 203 to provide respite to the aspiring KAS candidates.
