Bandipora: Division Officer (DO) police post Ajas, Qasir Bashir on Wednesday provided his own departmental vehicle to a pregnant lady who was suffering from labour pain to ferry him to hospital.
As per reports a pregnant lady, resident of Waz Mohalla Ajas suffered labour pain on Wednesday evening.Subsequently due to unavailability of public transport, the family couldn’t arrange a vehicle to ferry the patient as such they called the DO, the said DO in no time arranged his official vehicle for the patient. Accompanied by policemen the lady was then shifted to CHC Sumbal for treatment.
This philanthropic approach of the officer has won him huge respect and big heart among the locals and his dedication is hugely appreciated.
Pertinently, the said officer along with his special team yesterday night rescued more than 40 vehicles stranded at Churtung Mode area of Bandipora district by arranging a JCB machine on his liason.
