Jammu/June,14: Minister for Animal Sheep Husbandry and Fisheries Abdul Ghani Kohli on Thursday handed over regularization orders to 19 daily wagers working in Animal Husbandry Department.
These Daily wagers have been working in the in the Animal Husbandry department for a long time and were found eligible for regularization of their services.
The Minister gave away the appointment orders at a simple but impressive function held in the in presence of the Director Dr. Praveen Gupta and other senior officers of the department.
Speaking at the function, the Minister assured to every support from the government to improve work culture in the department. He assured that the issues of the employees of the departments under his charge would be resolved on priority by his personal endeavors. He asked the departmental functionaries to work with dedication to promote cattle rearing which has huge scope in the state. He said majority of state population are associated with the farming activities but they need proper guidance and intervention to improve their income. Later the Minister took a review of the working of the department.
