Irfan Naqeeb dissociates himself from Apni Party, cites ideological differences

Srinagar: A day after the DDC poll results were declared, Irfan Naqeeb, a former Congressman, has disassociated himself from the newly launched Apni Party.
According to the news agency—Naqeeb has announced his disassociation from Apni Party through his twitter handle. “I have disassociated myself from JK @Apni Party,” Irfan tweeted.
Naqeeb says that the ideological difference was the reason to quit the party. “There was nothing besides than ideological differences. I remained in a biggest political party, but the work culture in this party was different from political party,” he said.
He added that although there are prominent leaders in the party, but it would take time to witness the party emerging as the party. “At present there is political instability and we are not even able to serve the people in this juncture. The leaders are being detained. There could be scams and other things, but that need to be probed properly,” he said.
