9 Panchayat members, their associates from Kangan-Ganderbal join Apni Party,Ashraf Mir welcomes them into party-fold

Srinagar/Dec,20: Nine Panchayat members alongwith dozens of their associates from Block Kangan district Ganderbal on Monday joined Apni Party at its office in Lal Chowk, Srinagar.

The Panchayat representatives who joined the Apni Party included: Mehraj-ud-Din Bhat Panch ward number-9 Halqa Chatterrgul, Abdul Ahad Mir, ward number-3 Panch Halqa Arigoripora-A, Siama Bano Panch ward number-1 Halqa Airgoripora-A, Shareefa Bano Panch ward number-2 Halqa Margund, Tahira Bano Panch ward number-8 Halqa Margund, Abdul Majeed Bijran, Panch ward number-7, Halqa Margund, Manzoor Ahmad Siyam Panch ward number-6, Halqa Kachhanambal besides prominent political activists of the area Manzoor Ahmad Gakhad Margund and Ghulam Hassan Siyam Margund.
Dozens of associates of the Panchayat representatives also joined the Party on this occasion who were welcomed by the Party’s provincial president Kashmir. The newly joined Panchayat members said that Apni Party’s socio-economic and developmental agenda motivated them to work under its banner for the welfare of the people in their respective areas.
Speaking on the occasion, the Provincial President Kashmir Mohammad Ashraf Mir welcomed the new entrants into the party-fold and hoped that they will work relentlessly for redressal of public grievances. “The Party will support you all in your efforts to lessen the miseries and sufferings of people. I also hope and believe that you all will work tirelessly to make the people aware about the Party’s agenda and its commitment to empower the people in J&K,” Mir remarked. Speaking on the occasion, the new entrants avowed to extend full cooperation and work indefatigably in their areas in strengthening of the Party cadre so as to mitigate the sufferings of the people in their respective areas.
