Shopian: For phase-V of the District Development Council (DDC) election and Panchayat by-election, the District Administration Shopian Tuesday imparted training to the polling staff in two sessions here.
On the occasion, the master trainers briefed the participants about their duties besides informing them about the key aspects of the DDC elections and Panchayat by-elections including that these elections are being conducted through ballot Boxes.
During the training, Nodal Officer Training, Dr Mohammad Amin said under phase-V, Hermain-I and Hermain-II of district Shopian are scheduled to undergo polls on 10 December, 2020 from 7 am to 2 pm.
He emphasized upon the polling staff that while performing their duties they should strictly adhere to COVID-19 SOPs and ensure use of masks, sanitizers and uniforms in letter and spirit.
