Srinagar: The Senior Trade Union Leader and the Chairman of the Umbrella Organization of Employees of Jammu and Kashmir, Employees Joint Consultative Committee, Mr. Aijaz Ahmad Khan has appealed the Centre Government to revoke the newly enacted Agricultural Bill’s in the interest of Farmers, who are protesting for their genuine cause. Mr. Khan in his statement issued has stated that the Farmers are the extremely hardworking section who have from the very first day promoted the Indian Economy and have importantly stabilized it. Undoubtedly, Farmers are an apostle, because the nation survives on what they yield. Mr. Aijaz Khan stated that the Centre Government should immediately chalk out a Common Minimum Program to safeguard the farmer’s interest. As per the statement of Senior trade Union Leader, Farmers have the apprehension of losing their control if the new agricultural Bill’s are enacted, as they believe that this move will only favour big Corporates at the cost of public enterprises. Besides this, the edible items specially Rice, Wheat, flour and other food items will reach to the common citizen at highly exorbitant rates. The Farmers also feel that the others will prey on their hardwork and they shall be facing hardships in their sustenance. Mr. Khan has said that these apprehensions shall go in the wake of Landlords, Farmers and Cultivators. Mr. Aijaz Khan has said that the way a soldier fights for the peace and security of the Country, likewise, the farmers have a significant role in feeding the Nation by their hardwork. Terming to the slogan of “Green Revolution”, Mr. Khan stated that this Nation has sung vocals out saying the slogans of “Jay Jawan Jay Kisan” from years, for this reason the Central Government shall immediately think of an alternate decisions in the wake of newly agricultural Bill’s that will relieve the tensions in the Farmers. Mr. Aijaz Khan stated that the Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi has owned a policy of bringing the Nation together that is how the Central Government should work to set aside the ill fate of hardworking Farmers in the wake of newly enacted Bill’s.
