DPEO Ang orders closure of traffic on Bumzoo-Mattan and Akura-Mattan roads

Ang: The District Panchayat Election Officer (DPEO) also District Magistrate Anantnag, K. K. Sidha, today issued an order for closure of traffic movement on Bumzoo-Mattan and Akura-Mattan roads for two days viz 03 and 04 December, 2020.
The order has been issued to ensure smooth and hassle free distribution/dispatch of poll material and polling parties of Khoveripora block/DDC constituency from Block Development Office Mattan (Distribution/Collection Centre) on 03 December 2020 and its receipt back on 04 December, 2020.
During this period no traffic/vehicular movement other than poll parties are to be allowed on Bumzoo Mattan Road via Gurdwara Mattan and Akura Mattan Road leading to Distribution/Collection Centre on 03 and 04 December 2020. Meanwhile, Tehsildar Anantnag East Mattan and SHO Police Station Mattan have been directed to implement the order in letter and spirit.
