MP Fayaz Mir’s father passes away

Srinagar: Father of Member Parliament Raja Sabah Fayaz Ahmad Mir on Monday passed away after brief Illness.
Reports said that Haji Mohammad Sabir Mir of Kupwara passed away Monday morning. Political,social and religious leaders and activists have expressed sympathy with Member Parliament Fayaz Ahmad Mir and his bereaved family. Several top mainstream leaders including PDP President and former Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti, the People Conference Chairman Sajad Gani Lone, J&K Apni Party President Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari and others have condoled the demise of Fayaz Mir’s father.
In a condolence statement the People`s Democratic Party (PDP) Chief and former Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti expressedher grief and shock over the sad demise of Al Haj Mohammad Sabir Mir, father of senior leader and Member Parliament Fayaz Ah Mir. While expressing sympathies with the bereaved family , Mehbooba described the deceased as a noble soul who was renowned in the area for his philanthropic work . She prayed for everlasting peace to the departed soul and strength to the bereaved family.Other party leaders also expressed solidarity with the family and shared grief in the demise of noble soul.
J&K Apni Party President Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari also expressed his deep sorrow and grief over the demise of Haji Mohammad Sabir Mir, father of Fayaz Ahmad Mir, Member Parliament (Rajya Sabha) who passed away after a brief spell of illness. In a condolence message issued here, Bukhari prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul and courage to his family to face this difficult time. He described the deceased as a noble and pious soul, who lived a very simple life. “At this time of grief, I stand in solidarity with Fayaz Ahmad Mir, his relatives and friends and pray to almighty Allah to give strength to the bereaved to bear this irreparable loss,” he added.
Chairman Jammu & Kashmir People’s conference and PAGD spokesman Sajad Gani Lone in his condolence statement on Monday expressed grief and sorrow over the demise of father of MP Fayaz Ahmad Mir. In his condolence Lone said that Haji Mohammad Sabir Mir was a social activist, and prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul. He also expressed sympathy with family of Haji Mohammed Sabir Mir.

Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (J&KPCC) Vice President and former MLC G N Monga while condoling the demise of father of Member Parliament (MP, Rajya Sabha, Fayaz Mir, said that he is deeply shocked over the demise, of Haji Mohammad Sabir Mir and prayed for courage to the bereaved family to bear the loss. He prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul and strength to the bereaved family.
