Kupwara: According to District Panchayat Election Officer (DPEO), Kupwara, Anshul Garg, 188 nomination forms were found valid during scrutiny of nomination papers for phase-V of District Development Council (DDC) constituencies of Qadirabad and Rajwar and for Sarpanch and Panch vacancies held on November 24, here.
As per data, all 36 nomination forms have been found valid for these 02 DDC constituencies. Similarly, all 11 nomination forms against 03 vacant Sarpanch seats have also been found valid after scrutiny.
Meanwhile, 02 Panch nomination forms have been rejected, and only 141 Panch nominations were found valid. The last date for withdrawal of candidature is November 26, 2020.
