Bandipora: Four residential houses were gutted in a fire mishap here in north Kashmir’s Bandipora, leaving four families shelterless and causing huge loss of property.
Reports reaching said the fire broke out from the house of Farooq Ahmad near Naag masjid Ward No 3 in Plan Bandipora and engulfed three adjacent houses of Shabir Ahmaf Mir, Ali Mohammad and Feroz Ahmad Mir within no time.
Fire tenders with the help of locals douse the flames and stopped fire for more spreading to other near houses in the area.
Reports further mention that the property worth lacs of rupees were completely gutted in the mishap and the area is still under trauma due to the heavy loss caused the properties.
