Bandipora: District Panchayat Election Officer (DPEO) Bandipora, Dr Owais Ahmad issued notification for by-elections to Municipal Council Bandipora for the vacant wards on Thursday.
According to the District Panchayat Election Officer, the last date for filing nomination is 26 November, 2020 while the date of scrutiny is November 27th. The last date for withdrawal of candidature is 01 December, 2020 and polls shall be held on 13th December, 2020.
The nomination paper in respect of Municipal Councilors can be obtained free of cost from the concerned Returning Officers at their Office headquarters.
For Ward-01 (Nowpora) and Ward-06 (Nabripora and Nishat Bagh) the nomination papers shall be available at Municipal Council Office Bandipora. The Nomination papers shall be duly filled up in the office headquarter of Returning Officers concerned or at designated ARO office or in the office of ARO (HQ) located at Mini Secretariat DC Office Complex Bandipora.
