Bandipora: The residents of this north kashmir’s Bandipora district on Wednesday staged a protest demonistration against the non shifting of the hospital to new complex.
Protest demonstration held in the premises of the new hospital building here at Nusoo in which large number of locals participated.
Protestors assembled in new complex of Bandipora hospital where few section of non emergency sections are functioning since last one month, while the rest of emergency sections including OPD, are still functional in old district hospital thus according to people affecting the patient care completley in the district.
The locals said that a period of a month have passed now and the authorities even didn’t respond our repeated pleadings regarding the shifting of the hospital as all the main sections are still functioning in old hospital.
Bashrat Hussain, President MC Bandipora, while protesting said that they are running from pillar to post for the last twelve years and after twelve years only few non emergency sections were shifted to new hospital building.
He also threatened that they will launch a massive agitation if authorities fail to shift all the sections of old hospital to new district hospital.Locals appeal Lt. Governor to look into the matter on priority basis.
