Shopian: For the Phase Ist of upcoming District Develoment Council (DDC), Panchayat by- election a total of 92 nomination papers were received for vacant Sarpanch and Panch seats in Keller-1 and Keller-2 of the district.
On scrutiny of nomination papers, the authorities found 91 candidatures correct and 01 Nomination Paper for Panch seat got rejected due to non attachment of ST certificate.
The accepted Nomination papers include 14 for DDC, 13 for Sarpanch and 64 for Panch seats.
Meanwhile, the last date of withdrawal is 16th November 2020 while the voting for this phase will be held on November 28, 2020, wherever necessary.
