Bandipora: District Development Commissioner (DDC) Bandipora on Thursday kick started the first batch training of officers regarding Public Financial Management System (PFMS).
The training covers specifically the Border area Development Program being operational in the Gurez area of the district.
While speaking on the occasion, DDC, Dr Owais Ahmad emphasized on the fact that PFMS will enable officers /DDOs to manage all financial transactions online to bring transparency in the Govt Business. He emphasized that DDOs should immediately switch over to PFMS after training.
Pertinent to mention that JK has become the first UT to have District PFMS units established through CAG , Ministry of Finance , Department of Expenditure .
