DC B’pora reviews arrangements for Account Assistant (Panchayat) examination

Bandipora: Deputy Commissioner, Bandipora Dr Owais Ahmad Tuesday chaired a meeting to finalize arrangements for smooth conduct of Accounts Assistant (panchayat) examination in the district.
The meeting was informed that the examination for Panchayat Account Assistant is scheduled for November 10, 2020 and in this regard 17 examination centres have been identified in the district. All the necessary arrangements have been carried out and HoDs of college, professors and district officers, have been assigned the duties.
It was given out that 5385 candidates are appearing in the examination and invigilators, observers, superintendents and deputy superintendents have been nominated for each centre.
On the occasion, DC directed the officers to ensure that all required arrangements are put in place to ensure smooth conduct of the exams. Restrictions under Section 144 shall also remain in place around the examination centres.
He also directed to follow COVID-19 related guidelines and SOPs at examination centres including availability of hand sanitizers, IT thermometers at each centres and ensuring social distancing at all the centers besides thermal check up of every student and the staff.
With regard to security, the Police department was asked to make foolproof arrangements and also deploy personnel for transportation and frisking. He also urged all the officers to work in a coordinated manner for smooth conduct of the examination.
Additional Deputy Commissioner, Zahoor Ahmad Mir; Deputy Chief Education Officer, District Information Officer, District Informatics Officer, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Under Secretary JKSSB, Tehsildars of several tehsils and other senior officers attended the meeting.
