Junior female doctor handles 4 independent portfolios in Health Deptt

Srinagar : Not one, not two and not three but there are four important portfolios that are being handled by a female Junior Doctor at Directorate of Health Services Kashmir.
Entrusting charges of four important portfolios to a Junior Doctor (name withheld) at one time has made mockery of the Health System in Kashmir.
Insiders said that the Junior Doctor who is simply a Dentist is the in charge of Grievance Cell, National Tobacco Control Program, Nodal Officer Oral Health Program and is In-charge of RTI Section of the Health Department as well.
Sources said that this junior female doctor was attached to Directorate of Health Services Kashmir but ironically she was given four choicest independent charges.
“Yes, this is true and in fact everyone is surprised here. It is difficult to handle a single portfolio here but how a lady manages four different portfolios is astonishing,” said an official on condition of anonymity. He said there are some people in the Directorate who sit idle and have nothing important to do, but on the other hand blue-eyed employees are being given multiple independent charges.
Sources said that LG Secretariat Office has taken cognizance of this rare case and inquiry is likely to be ordered in coming days.
