Police Sports Festival: Matches played at Sopore, Ganderbal

Srinagar: As a part of Police Sports Festival, 9 matches of Volleyball, Football and Cricket were played in Sopore and 04 matches of Martyr Altaf Memorial T-20 Police Premier Cricket League were played in Ganderbal.
In Sopore, 2 matches of Volleyball, 04 matches of Cricket and 03 matches of Football were played at Khushaal Stadium Tulibal and MET ground Sopore.
Volleyball semi-final matches were played between DPL Sopore Volleyball Club v/s Zaingeer Juniors Volleyball Club and Tarzoo Volleyball Club v/s Zaingeer Seniors which were won by DPL Sopore Volleyball Club and Zaingeer Seniors Volleyball Club respectively.
Cricket matches were played between Victorian Whites v/s Cousins Pride, Badambagh 11 v/s Sopore Blasters, Darnambal 11 v/s KCC Mundji and Wonder Boys Zethan v/s Rising Star Tujjar. In these matches, Victorian Whites, Sopore Blasters, Darnambal 11 and Rising Star Tujjar emerged as winners.
Football match was played between SL Academy Seer v/s FC Reshipora, Chinar FC Rohama v/s Muslim FC Ferozpora and FC Tulibal v/s SKFC Watergam which were won by FC Reshipora, Chinar FC Rohama and FC Tulibal.
In Ganderbal, on 22nd day of T-20 Police Premier Cricket League 2020, 04 matches of cricket were played at Qamaria Stadium Ganderbal and Shallabugh ground Ganderbal.
These matches were played between Rangil XI V/S Valley Stars, DCAG V/S XI Friends Kangan, Young XI Saloora V/S Giraaj XI and XI Brothers Gangehama V/S Hamdania Saloora.
The first match was won by Valley Stars by 7 wickets and Showkat Ahmad was declared Man of the match. The second match was won by DCAG by 77 runs and Sayim Mustafa was declared Man of the match. Similarly, 3rd and 4th matches were won by Giraj XI & XI Brothers Gangehama. Tawseef and Zubair were declared as men of the matches respectively.
