Awantipora: In the memory of Policemen killed in action and to pay tributes to them, Awantipora Police Wednesday under the banner of “Police Martyr’s Memorial Sports Festival” organized a cultural prograt Police Lines Awantipora.
Singers, Artists, Cultural Troupes, Dancers etc participated in the cultural program. At the outset of the program, one minute silence was observed to remember the courage and valor of the policemen killed in action. Artists performed a skit, sung Kashmir/Pahari song and Special Patriotic Song. The program was witnessed by respectables from the vicinity of Police Lines Awantipora.
At the end of the cultural program SSP Awantipora distributed cash rewards and certificates among various participants. SSP Awantipora also thanked the artists, media persons and the people who joined and made the program successful.
