DC Shopian visits Bohrihallan fire victims, assures of compensation

Shopian: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Shopian, Choudhary Mohammad Yasin Fridaypaid a visit to the fire victims of Bohrihallan, where 03 residential houses were gutted in a fire incident last night.
During the visit, DC took a thorough review of the situation post the fire incident, he directed the concerned officers to assess the damage occurred so that proper and timely compensation is provided to the fire victi
He also directed the concerned officers to provide necessary commodities to the victims assuring that every possible relief measure shall be taken for the rehabilitation of fire victi
Meanwhile, the DC interacted with several delegations who apprised him about their demands. The DC assured them that every possible help would be provided on a priority basis.
He also urged upon them to remain vigilant so that such incidents are averted.
The DC on the occasion was accompanied by officers from various line departments.
