Arrangements for ‘MTMP’ program finalized at Ganderbal

Ganderbal: District Development Commissioner, Ganderbal, Shafqat Iqbal, Friday convened a meeting of officers of line departments to finalize the arrangements for the ‘My Town My Pride’ (MTMP) program.
The meeting discussed the steps required to be taken to conduct two-day program aimed at addressing the issues of urban areas at peoples doorsteps.
During the meeting threadbare discussion was held on the key aspects and activity schedule for the visiting officer and accordingly formulated.
The DDC exhorted upon the officers of line departments to formulate detailed reports of the government schemes of their respective departments to be showcased during the program for awareness of the public. He also directed them to install stalls at the venue keeping all related material available for the information of General public.
The Information Department was asked to install a well equipped Public Addressing system at the venue besides ensuring proper coverage of the program on both the days.
The officers of concerning departments were directed to extend their cooperation in listening to public grievances and their redress on the spot as per their competence.
He directed the concerned departments to ensure time-bound delivery of certificates like domicile, SC/ST/RBA/OBC, revenue services, benefits under various welfare schemes including pensions, scholarships, KCC, Health Golden Cards, LadliBeti and others.
The meeting was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner, Assistant Commissioner Revenue, President Municipal Council, CPO Ganderbal, S.E PDD, Executive Engineers of R&B, Jal Shakti, I&FC and PDD, EO Municipality, besides all the officers from the line departments.
