Jammu: Government College of Education, Jammu organized an online Painting Competition to commemorate National Wildlife week being observed from 2nd to 8th of October, 2020 with theme ‘Sustaining all life on Earth’.
The event was organised by Department of Environmental Sciences, GCOE under the supervision of Professor Harmanmeet Kaur, HOD in which students from different colleges participated.
Sapna Devi of Government College of Education bagged the first position, Mriga Sharma and Diksha Maltonia of Government College of Education shared the second position while Janvi Choudhary of Government Degree College, Samba bagged the third position and were given E-Certificates.
The adjudicators for the event were Dr. Pinki Manhas , Assistant Professor Environment Sciences, Government Degree College Paloura, Mishriwala and Dr. Mosmi Raina , Assistant Professor Environment Sciences ,GDC Samba.
Dr. Kulvinder Kour, Principal Government College of Education, Jammu lauded the efforts involved in materializing the event.
