Srinagar: A 20-year-old youth died after he accidentally slipped off the road and fell down into the drain in Srandoo area of South Kashmir’s Kulgam district.
Official sources told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer that Manzoor Ahmad Chohan, son of Muhammad Abdullah Chohan, a labourer from Halan Kulgam, was slipped off the road when he was pulling the handcart loaded with cement and fell into the drain.
He suffered severe head injury and died on the spot, official said, adding that a case under relevant sections of law has been registered and further investigation has been taken up
