Hakeem conveys sympathies to bereaved family of BDC Chairman Bhupinder Singh, Seeks restoration of political process

Srinagar: Chairman People’s Democratic Front ( PDF) Hakeem Mohammaf Yaseen has expressed his heartfelt sympathies with the bereaved family of slain BDC , Chairman, Khag S. Bhupinder Singh, who was killed by unidentified gun men last evening.
In his condolence message, Hakeem while expressing his shock over the killing of BDC Chairman , Khag, S Bhupinder singh, said that killing of innocent people was against the tenents of all religions particularly in Islam.
Hakeem urged the need for restoration of political process and elected civilian government in Jammu and Kashmir to bring peace and tranquility. He said unless democratic rights of the people are restored in Jammu and Kashmir, incidents of violence and political killings would continue unabated. He said resolution of socio- political aspirations of the people was imperative for restoration of peace and tranquility in the troubled torn Jammu and Kashmir.
PDF Chairman also urged the need for a meaningful dialogue and reconciliation process between the two neighbouring countries of Indian and Pakistan to ensure lasting peace in the subcontinent. He said friendly relations between Indian and Pakistan was only way forward to ensure peace in the region.
