Pulwama police destroys wild bung

Pulwama: Continuing its efforts to eradicate the menace of drugs from the society, Pulwama police along with the local people of the area and destroyed wild bung at village Achan area of Pulwama.
“Police team acted alongwith the local people of the area and destroyed huge quantity of naturally grown weed bung at village Achan area of Pulwama”, said an official statement issued by police on Thursday . In it’s statement the police has appealed people to come forward with any information regarding cultivation of contrabands in their neighbourhood. Persons found indulging in drug peddling & cultivation of contraband substances shall be dealt as per law.
“Our consistent actions against such anti-social elements should reassure the community members that we are making efforts to keep our society free from the scourge of drug menace”, the police statement reads.
